 These
images show the scene in Diadem Lane Lismore a short time after a
serious assault occurred at about 6:30 PM.
Police received a
report about a male stomping on someone's head. The victim was then
reportedly left laying on the ground before the person of interest
tried to place the victim in a dumpster bin.
An informant
assisted police who responded very quickly to take the person of
interest into custody.
The victim was transported to
hospital. Their condition is not known at this stage.
A
crime scene has been established. Police have called detectives and
crime scene investigators to investigate this serious assault.
