 Police
were called to a single vehicle accident on Ballina Road near Hunter
Street. A vehicle reportedly crashed into two parked vehicles at the
location. The female driver was reportedly still in the vehicle at
the time of the call.
A number of police responded quickly
blocking the road in both directions upon arriving at the scene. The
female driver was reported as being out of the vehicle but suffering
from shock. Ambulance and fire brigade attended.
The female
driver was transported to hospital by ambulance a short time later.
Traffic diversions were put in place until fire brigade cleaned up
some leaking fluids and the road was cleared.
