ANOTHER CAR BURNT |

IS LISMORE
CITY COUNCIL DOING ENOUGH?
Lismore police received a
report at 23:30 last night about what the informant believed were
three gunshots in Cynthia Wilson Drive East Lismore near Southern
Cross University. Voices and the sound of people moving about were
also heard. |
|
Police
arrived a short time later finding a vehicle on fire they believed
was responsible for what sounded like gunshots to the informant.
Fire brigade promptly attended the location and extinguished the
fire.
The vehicle, which was completely destroyed by fire,
was one of many vehicles that had been seen 'dumped' by the side of
the road in recent times.
This particular vehicle could be
sighted on Cynthia Wilson Drive for many weeks at the location. As
has happened on many occasions previously, such a vehicle was later
found to be set alight and destroyed by fire at the location it had
been sitting for a long period of time.
How much longer will
it be left to sit now as a burnt out carcass of a vehicle?
