LISMORE POLICE COVER UP AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT -
GOONELLABAH
The following information relates to
unconfirmed reports about an aggravated sexual assault that occurred
on Tuesday, 23 June 2015 in Goonellabah.
Shortly after 4am
NSW police radio broadcast a job for Lismore police in McDermott
Avenue. That broadcast stated a crying female was on the phone, she
gave the location and was saying:
'Please go.'
The
operator went on to say a male was also heard and appeared to be
hitting the female. It was believed there were two males or more
than one male could be heard.
The operator also said it was
believed the female called police without the males knowing that she
done so and she was still crying.
It appears police were all
at the station and two vehicles immediately made their way both
arriving within about six minutes. The offenders had already fled
the location prior to police arriving.
A recording of the NSW
police radio broadcast is available here: |

Although police did not know the nature of the call at the time,
they proceeded to the location 'code red' (lights & sirens) arriving
soon after where things became very clear.
What was reported
in one local newspaper, reported initially as a 'violent home
invasion' before being reported as just a 'home invasion', with very
little detail being provided and no media release about it being
issued by the NSW Police Force media unit appears to be something
much more disturbing and a concern for all in the area.
Police were only saying a woman woke up and disturbed two males in
her McDermott Avenue residence. They also said the males fled prior
to their arrival, that a crime scene was declared and it was
examined by police.
WHAT LISMORE POLICE HAVE NOT TOLD
US
Unconfirmed information from reliable sources has
revealed that a team of NSW Police Force sex crimes squad detectives
arrived in the area hours after the incident. They reportedly door
knocked and spoke to numerous people in the McDermott Avenue area.
Further information described the incident as considerably more
than a 'home invasion'.
It appears two males wearing
balaclavas and armed with a machete forced entry to the premises.
The victim was reportedly home with two young children. She woke to
find the males in her home.
The victim was reportedly held
at knife point while she was sexually assaulted.
Other
information provided above about the victim contacting police
without the two male offenders being made aware appears to be
accurate.
It has been four and a half days since the incident
occurred and not a word about the aggravated sexual assault has
appeared in mainstream media or has been released through police
media sources.
