POLICE DISMANTLE CLAN LAB - LISMORE HEIGHTS


Following information that police were guarding a crime scene in High Street Lismore Heights through the night, the following images were submitted a short time ago showing numerous police and fire brigade resources, including HAZMAT, off at what is believed to be the same location.

It is yet to be confirmed what has actually transpired but unconfirmed information suggests a person of interest was arrested yesterday, police established a crime scene and kept guard all night and the resources currently off at the location are dealing what is believed to be a major drug lab inside the premises.

A police media spokesperson has not yet confirmed the situation but has advised a media release is expected to be issued later tonight.

Police dismantle clan lab – Lismore Heights


Police investigating drug supply in the Lismore area have dismantled a clandestine drug laboratory in Lismore Heights yesterday afternoon.

About 1.25pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 July 2015), following investigations into the supply of drugs in the Lismore area, police from Richmond Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on High Street, Lismore.

At the home, police allegedly found a clandestine drug laboratory. A crime scene was established.

Today (Thursday 9 July 2015), police from the Chemical Operations Unit with the assistance of NSW Fire & Rescue HAZMAT officers, are examining the premises.

A number of items used in the alleged manufacture of drugs, believed to be cocaine, have been seized and will undergo further forensic examinations.

Investigations into the incident are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
