The images and footage contained in this video relate to an incident at
Lismore that occurred on Saturday, 17 January 2015 involving numerous police
officers dealing with a number of intoxicated persons after a venue closed
in Keen Street near Woodlark Street. Some violence followed resulting in a
male and a female being arrested.
A police officer suffered the
effects of capsicum spray during the incident and the footage shows him
being treated by ambulance at the scene. This treatment is what is commonly
known as 'decontamination'.
