Images and video footage attached show the scene of a vehicle fire that occurred on Monday, 10 March 2015 at 01:18 on Bentley Road at Tuncester a few kilometres out of Lismore. Police responded quickly with fire brigade not far behind.

The vehicle had been left at the location days earlier by an unknown person. Attempts to contact the owner were not successful. It was believed to be abandoned as a number of parts had been removed.

Police received a number of calls about the vehicle over a number of days. Council has failed to promptly remove the vehicle leaving it where it has now been destroyed. This is becoming a regular occurrence in the area.
