Detectives investigating the
armed robbery of a service station at Labrador early this morning
have released CCTV footage of the incident.
Around 2.40am a
man entered the Frank Street business before taking bottles of
softdrink to the counter.
As the attendant was processing the
sale, the man produced a large knife, threatening the 25-year-old
male store attendant while attempting to steal the cash drawer.
The man then stole the till drawer before fleeing the scene.
The store attendant sustained a minor cut to his hand during the
incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in
appearance, aged in his late 30s, about 183cm tall and appearing to
have an injury to his left knee.
He was wearing a New South
Wales Blues Origin cap, a dark jumper, khaki three-quarter length
pants and a knee brace.
