Following the initial roar of the crowd that gathered at the site of the Lismore
pre-polling booth when the winning candidate for the seat of Lismore in the NSW
State Election 2015 was announced, the formal announcement was made followed by
a speech by Thomas George MP.
It is not clear why the full speech has
not been broadcast on main stream media considering the interest in the result.
The whole speech is contained here excluding about 2 seconds mid speech when
recording had to be restarted on the device being used. Thomas George MP was
speaking about how the Ballina Nationals candidate had a difficult task and big
shoes to fill at that point.
